Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CalenDash ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. CalenDash is operated by an individual developer based in Israel, not a registered company. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CalenDash is an AI personal assistant that operates as:

  • A Telegram bot for conversational interactions
  • A web dashboard for calendar and task management
  • An AI assistant with memory and conversation context
  • Optional integrations with Google Calendar and other services

3. Eligibility

You must be:

  • At least 16 years old
  • Able to enter binding contracts
  • A freelancer or independent contractor tracking income

4. Optional Google Import Access

4.1 Authorization

If you choose to connect Google import, you authorize CalenDash to access Google Calendar data via OAuth. This access is:

  • Optional: Native calendar features work without Google connection
  • Read-only by default: We do not write unless you explicitly grant write scopes
  • Revocable: You can revoke access anytime via Google Account settings
  • Limited: We only access data necessary for requested import and automation features

4.2 Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate event data in your calendar
  • Protecting your Google account credentials
  • Reviewing parsed data for accuracy

5. Accounts and Security

5.1 Account Creation

You may sign up using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

5.2 Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these terms
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Use the service for illegal purposes

6. Subscription and Payments

6.1 Free Trial

  • 3-day trial period OR 50 message limit (whichever comes first)
  • Full access to all features during trial
  • No payment required for trial
  • Trial automatically expires without conversion to paid plan

6.2 Paid Subscription ($29/month)

  • Unlimited conversations and messages
  • Full calendar integration and management
  • AI assistant with persistent memory
  • Voice message support
  • Priority support

6.3 Billing

  • Payments processed via PayPal
  • Monthly billing cycle
  • Cancel anytime; access continues until period end
  • No refunds for partial months
  • Service suspended immediately upon payment failure

7. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

IMPORTANT

CalenDash parses event data automatically. We are not responsible for:

  • Incorrect price parsing due to inconsistent formatting
  • Missing events that don't match parsing criteria
  • Financial decisions made based on our reports

You must verify all calculations for tax and accounting purposes.

8. Third-Party Services

CalenDash integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth and Calendar API: For account authentication and optional calendar integration
  • Supabase: For secure database and file storage
  • PayPal: For subscription payment processing
  • ElevenLabs: For voice message transcription
  • Telegram Bot API: For bot messaging functionality
  • Hetzner: For server hosting (Germany)

By using CalenDash, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these third parties in accordance with their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to breach security or access other users' data
  • Reverse engineer the application
  • Use automated scripts to access the service
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Abuse the trial period by creating multiple accounts
  • Share account credentials with others
  • Use the service to spam or harass others

10. Intellectual Property

CalenDash and its original content are the exclusive property of the service operator. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our code or content without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We provide the service "as is" without warranties
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to amounts paid by you in the past 12 months
  • We are not responsible for third-party service failures or data loss

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CalenDash from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Your violation of these terms
  • Your calendar data or content
  • Your interactions with third-party services

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email at least 30 days in advance.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Israel.

15. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
